Improve player attributes
Implants are player upgrades bought with ordinary in-game money. Once installed, you cannot remove or swap them. They still wear out, though, losing durability whenever the player takes part in a match.
They improve one attribute during matches, but they do not change the player's base attribute, Quality or Value in the normal player views.
The description tells you exactly what the implant adds. No mystery, no medical Latin and, so far, surprisingly little paperwork.

The shop keeps changing
The implant shop gets a completely new selection during normal training. Every human manager sees the same offers, but stock is unlimited while an implant is listed. You do not need to fight someone over the last mechanical knee.
There are four tiers. Better implants add more to the chosen attribute and, in a shocking turn of events, cost more money.
- Tier 1: +3 for 250,000.
- Tier 2: +6 for 500,000.
- Tier 3: +9 for 1,000,000.
- Tier 4: +12 for 2,000,000.

Four slots, no refunds
Every player has four implant slots: Eyes, Arms, Legs and Torso. Each implant belongs in one of them and only improves an attribute that makes sense for that slot.
Installation is immediate, costs nothing extra and cannot be undone. The implant stays in that slot until it wears out and is destroyed. You cannot remove it, move it, sell it, repair it or put it neatly back in the box.
Field note
Playing wears them out
Every installed implant loses 10 percent durability when its player takes part in a match. Sitting on the bench causes no drain. An injury can damage one implant further, although a good Medic may reduce some of that extra damage.
At zero durability, the implant keeps working until the match ends. Then it is destroyed, the slot opens again, and the player takes an extra fitness hit. Apparently exploding hardware is tiring.
Field note
The metal goes with the player
Installed implants stay with a player through a normal transfer. If you buy the player, you also get whatever has been bolted into them.
Quickselling is different. Every installed implant disappears with no refund. Uninstalled implants remain with the club that bought them, where they are presumably stored somewhere safe and not in a desk drawer.
